2. I thought the feedback I received was good. I was surprised that people came up with the idea to add cars to my idea. I feel like scooters are used more around campus, and it would be easier to find valet parking for them. I do not think this would work as well with cars, but I am willing to give this idea some though. Also, I tried to be more clear in my idea because, it seemed that some people did not completely understand how this would work in terms of the employees and how you would get your scooter without having to wait for it.
3. I changed my idea by adding more detail in my elevator pitch. I tried to be as clear as possible when explaining how the valet service would work. I also added the price per month that people would have to pay to use this service.
Hello Luis,
ReplyDeleteThe pitch sounded great. I think you idea for having a valet parking system would be a great idea especially for students who need to get to their class immediately. I can't wait to hear more about this idea in the future. The parking situation in its entirety here on campus and off campus is an absolute disaster to say the least. By having a valet system I think it can solve the terrible parking situation that people have here on campus and possibly off campus. Great idea! I enjoyed your pitch as well. Hey Luis I greatly enjoyed reading your elevator pitch blog. It was a fun read. Also I liked your pitch. However I have some questions. Do you think that a broke college student would pay extra for a valet service. Valet services do work. However they are typically placed in affluent areas such as high end restaurants or hotels. Therefore, how realistic is it for someone to pay someone to park their scoot.

Hey Luis,
ReplyDeleteI really like your idea. Although I don't use a scooter, my roommate has very bad things to say about the parking situation on campus. It seems that students would be willing to pay for your service. How would your users be able to verify that they are dropping the scooter off with one of your employees? I'm wondering how you would be able to make sure that students aren't leaving their scooters and keys with a person not affiliated with your company.

Interesting idea Luis, I find myself in that situation constantly here at UF. I think that's a really cool idea to solve this problem. I can think of a lot of people who would be interested in a service like this. I have one question though, who is held accountable of the scooter while the valet is driving?
