2. I talked to college students during my first round of interviews. I believe that this group of people is the one that would use this service the most. After my first round of interviews, I still believe that this is the right customers to interview. For this round of interviews, I again found college students to talk to about this opportunity.
3. For my interview questions, I attempted to ask more questions to see if people actually thought that a scooter service would be useful. Also, I asked them what price they would pay for this service to see if it the service would be feasible.
Questions:
- If not, do you think it would be easier to move around campus with one? why or why not?
- If yes, do you think it is the best way to get around campus? why or why not?
4. Interviews:
Josh
Ricky
Will
Jake
David
5. I think that I have come up with a great opportunity. Many students own and operate scooters on a daily basis. Most of the students that I have interviewed are open to this opportunity, and they seem to like the idea of being able rent scooters. This opportunity also seems cost-efficient.
6. Interviewing customers becomes easier with practice. Three tips I would offer students are, to do mock interviews with friends so that they get comfortable with it, try to ask precise questions, and to be open to receiving negative feedback from the people they interview.
Good day luis,
ReplyDeleteGreat post I am an off campus student however I have always wondered how easy it would be to traverse the campus.
But luckily for you UF has invested heavily in ensuring that the bus system is reliable. The concept of transportation rental I see could has its possibilities but I was wondering about the security and insurance cost involved.
Great Job Luis! I really like your idea of a rental scooter service, it would be awesome! I dont have a scooter but thankfully I live very close to campus. I know alot of people who want one but dont have the money to buy one full price. You were very nice to your interviewees and their responses were great!

Hey Luis! I really like your idea and can see it being successful in Gainesville and other college towns. I walk to class now because I live close but I know in later semesters I’ll be further from classes and will probably look into alternative transportation. I think you asked some great questions but I’m wondering where you’d be located since people would have to come to you to get the scooter. Maybe in your next round of interviews you can ask people where they think the best place would be. Here’s a link to check out how my second round of interviews went: http://cxgoss.blogspot.com/2016/02/interviewing-customers-no-2.html
