2. What stood out to me as important is that people do believe that this would be a useful service. Also, some people did have concerns about the pricing, and how to know that you are giving the scooter to the Smart Scoot staff. I was surprised that there weren't more concerns, but since this is the third time we add to the original pitch I do believe that I have been able to fix some of the concerns.
3. In my new pitch, I added more information on how to find the Smart Scoot staff. They will be wearing a uniform with the company logo on it. Also, I tried to emphasize that the price of around $10 a month for a subscription is relatively cheap when compared to the price of 1 parking ticket. I also, emphasized that this service will save students money since they will be paying less than the price of 1 parking ticket. They will be able to use this service for 3 months before the price is about the same as the price of 1 parking ticket.

ReplyDeleteI think you have a great idea and you pitched it really well. I don’t have a scooter but I have seen many people on campus get frustrated when they go to park and the scooter parking is already full. I think this is a real problem on campus and that your solution has the potential to be very successful. Not only will it help students who need to get to class and don’t have time to find parking but it will also provide more jobs to students on campus. My idea is to start an immersion preschool. Hi Luis, I think that you have a great idea and that many students would be interested in your service. My only reservation is that this service might make parking areas a little too crowded if various scooter riders were trying to be serviced at the same time. This place does get pretty hectic so I think that could be an issue, but I'm sure that it is solvable. Anyways, your pitch was great, you seem very confident and your idea was well articulated, great job! Unfortunately, I missed this assignment, so I can't provide a link to my own blog post.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a good idea! I have a scooter myself and usually traffic is so bad that I can't get to the parking early enough to find a spot; therefore, I get to class late.
